The engine is a "68" It runs great, but idles a little rough, probably could use a rebuild on the carbs, transmission shifts good"

Dang... at least know what you have before you offer it up for sale! Sounds like he got it on trade for something else and is willing to trade it onto someone else.

As far as driveability, the SVO wins hands down. Personally I like old muscle, but I stick with Mustangs and originality. Getting harder to find correct parts (or service parts for that matter) for the older stuff. Easy enough to work on and would definetly get the looks as you cruise around town (with no AC!).

Thats a nice car! probably not a 428, they had 16 bolt pattern on the heads. Most likely a 390. Carb setup is a bit over kill.
