I found a n.o.s. piece of the body molding. Had it left over from several sets from years ago.

It's not long enough for a door but there is enough to cut into the four short pieces for in front and behind the doors.

How do I cut it? It needs to match the factory cuts and lengths. Sort of measure three times and cut once.

Is there a particular kind of knife or blade or jig set-up to cut through this material?

I'm thinking something like this would work well?

Ordered one from Sears. Seems to be a handy tool. Only drawback is trying to cut the beveled leading egde of the thin molding.

Bye cheap stuff that looks similar (available at most parts stores) & practice cutting that until you have it right.

What ever you do, do not remove the metal backing on the trim, it will shrink.

I have one and it is very handy and makes nice clean cuts. Very sharp so watch the fingers! Like Mitch said, practice on some cheap stuff first. If that doesn't work, maybe you can make a small wooden jig with an angled slot in it to allow a single edge razor blade to slide through and cut the molding?

Do you want to sell it?

I have been told that the door moldings are impossible to find. True?
