Turbo Water Fittings

I need to replace the hot side water fitting. I have read some conflicting sizes on my internet searches. Are the threads 16mm and does anyone have a source to purchase ? Also curious as to the thread size of the cold size outlet fitting on the block.


This will be for the stock Garrett T3 off a '86 SVO.

Also curious as to the thread size of the cold size outlet fitting on the block. Coolant out on the right, rear of the block is 1/4 pipe to 1/2 hose. It's just a few inches above where the starter motor body mounts.

The CHRA threaded coolant holes in the Garrett housing are 3/8 NPT (pipe). Some pictorial references for your viewing pleasure.

as a bookend, what are the dimensions of the water inlet fitting??

Coolant INLET is on the shock tower side and it's a 3/8 NPT to 90-degree 1/2 hose bib. 1.25-1.5" long, iirc.

Coolant OUT is 3/8 male pipe to 1/2 inverted tube flare. Overall it's about 1.0-1.25" long, iirc. Look here:
