My bell housing fork throw out bearing spring is worn almost all the way through. The front of the fork is in great shape. Over on TF I saw this bearing and got the impression it would replace the spring clip. I bought one but don't know how it can work. I thought the backing plate was going to clip to the fork in place of the stock bearing and clip. Anyone ever use one of these? The difference in thickness is my big concern. I have an adjustable firewall adjuster backed all the way out now. As I see it this would need more slack taken up still.
