Finnish Ford Mustang Owner's club was proudly presenting Ford Mustang SVO first time ever in public event in Finland...
Well, maybe nothing that fancy but as I am in charge of our club stand in our local (second biggest in Finland) american car show, I decided to take my SVO there last weekend. Together with black, original owner, still in original Finnish plates from -65, export specs 65 HT. Funny co-incidence that on next to us was another Ford club with two black cars (Galaxie and Starliner) as well. All blacks Fords together looked good.
It was funny to see people's reactions. Many just passed by smiling and mumbling something about "not real Mustang" etc. But quite a few stopped and looked car very carefully from all angles, seemingly knew something about speciality of SVO. Also spoke with several people during weekend and presented car for them and answering lot of questions. Now just waiting when some other brave individual courages himself to buy second SVO to our country. May take years...
Anyway good show and was very proud of my old Stang how good she actually looked there in middle of many high budget muscle cars, classics and customs. Also was very satisfied of myself to get her cleaned up so well. Nice to start summer season this way
Here is link to my friend's photo gallery of some other nice Fords from show: http://1drv.ms/1fihLFL
