A few years ago, I bought a M-5478-C2 FMS drive shaft loop, and am finally getting ready to install it but I seem to have lost the instructions.
Transmission & drive-shaft are pulled, I have MM full sub-frame connectors on the car, and I can't seem to mock-up anything that looks like it would work.

James, I wouldn't think that the sub-frames would interfere with the mounting strap...unless it is really that wide. I have a different brand loop, so I can't do a direct comparison. It looks like the FMS unit bolts the flat cross-bar up to the floor pan with the hump facing upward and the loop mounting on top of that over the driveshaft. Main thing about positioning is to have the tranny/DS mounted to make sure you don't have any interference as the DS usually isn't perfectly centered in the tunnel. I almost made that mistake when I went to mount mine many moons ago and luckily I hadn't drilled any holes in my floorpan before discovering this. You would also need to have it back enough to miss the DS balancer, if you are still running the original DS. I can see if I have any pics of mine to show the front/rear placement of my loop, if you would like, let me know.

It is a FMS loop. it mounts off of the front seat bolts.
