In that first launch, it's interesting to see how the AWD and shorter gears really get the rally car moving compared to the gearing of the F1 car. Once moving, the F1 car just shoots right past the rally car.

I wonder how the McLaren team feels about Ken Block doing donuts around their car and driver?

Once moving, the F1 car just shoots right past the rally car. If you watch carefullym the F1 cr did not launch. if it did (and had warm tyres) it would've completely dusted that rally car.

Many times in the vid each car was "in waiting" for the otehr car to catch-up - several cases for Hamilton when Ken spun or took the dirt path. And the longer the event went on, the dirtier the track got.

Still entertaining to watch. Dramatic difference in sound between the two cars.
