I am in the process of converting my 84 Svo to dual exhaust. I am indecisive on what to do with the fuel lines. I already converted to a newer style pickup with a Walbro 255hp and I plan on running the fuel filter above the rear end. My car originally had the nylon fuel lines from the tank to the engine. I wish to convert to steel lines because of the exhaust heat. How can I connect to the filter with a steel line? I see dorman makes a Nylon to steel compression fitting, but it looks really restrictive. Has anyone used these? I could use the ends of my factory lines and connect to steel but I do not want to starve for fuel.
