No 3" exhaust for our SVO for a while.

There won't be a new 3" exhaust from the turbo back as planned. At least not for a while, after today.

One of the mufflers rotted away from its tailpipe on our White Turbo Coupe, so it got all new 2 1/2" mid pipes, tailpipes, & Magnaflow mufflers installed today.

I'll have to start saving again for the SVOs upgrade.

Ron Pretty much, Yes. Maybe not ALL of us, certainly many though.

Most guys prevent this from happening by placing the car on jack stands and leaning the exhaust against the wall of the garage. Failures are very uncommon with this arrangement.

Dang Mike,
I should have checked with you years ago about how to store exhaust systems when not in use…………….Wait a minute.
I didn't even own it, back when it traveled from Michigan to North Carolina, then on to Arizona in 2007. So as you can see the failure to hang the exhaust on the garage wall falls on the previous owner.

So far, I've avoided being the previous owner by never selling anything. This minimizes the amount of blame I receive. :D However, I have excellent familiarity with jack stands.
