first start up, tries to start with starting fluid!

Car sat for ten years.
Think I should pull the injectors?
Try's to start with starting fluid, injectors gummed up perhaps?
Timing marks all line up with #1 TDC.

Pulled injectors because only #4 was firing, unless I was to try them one at a time and if that is the case someone stop me before I by 4 new injectors.
should mention new tank and both fuel pumps 2 weeks ago.

You can get them cleaned.

I routinely clean the injectors when trying to put something back on the road.

It's not often I say this, but I agree with Bob.

Bob, Pat, & Tony have the contract info for a great FI guy that can clean & service your injectors, but he is in OK.

I ordered 4 new 33.3# replacements, that's what Borg Warner calls the 57033 OEM replacements for the brown tops for the 86 car.
I figure to get it running and then do the ECU swap.
Is there a repin in store for me or do I just plug her in and go?

I actually had success with the injectors, soaked them in alcohol over night and freed up the pintals.
I checked the spray pattern with the fuel rail out of the car. They work well enough to start the car she seems to run great under acceleration in the garage.
I'm still replacing the injectors because of the idle quality, it seems to miss a little every once in a while..
#2 has a leaky o ring and my return line fitting is also getting replaced.
Should the boost gauge show something while the car is running or is the waist gate open because the vacuum is highest at low RPM and it holds the waist gate open?
That being said if I pop the throttle up to 3 grand the gauge still shows nothing on the boost gauge, is this correct? We spun up the turbo at the shop and if you take the air cleaner lid of and pop the throttle it will try and suck your hand threw the screen.

The wastegage diaphram never sees manifold vacuum - it's connected to the turbo outlet, on the atmosphere side of the throttle body.

in order to build boost, the engine must be under load. It's possible using WOT form 2.5k to 5K+ to see the needle move upwards a wee bit, but as soon as the htreotle is closed, it dumps right away.

I havent had a turbo car since my RX7 and that was a while back on another planet.
