It has been awhile since I posted. I have been using my black '86 SVO as a daily driver but I need a clutch; mine is slipping under boost but is still operational (barely) as I baby it along. I would appreciate any input regarding brands of replacement clutches, throw out bearings, vendors, and any special considerations the SVO may require. I will not be racing or heavily modding anything; I just would like a nice solid clutch. What is the clutch quadrant/ adjustable cable I read about? My engagement range feels fine to me as does the effort at the pedal. Also I saw a SPEC? clutch and an aluminum flywheel offered from Stinger; is this something to consider for just everyday use? Merits/ demerits? Car is a decent work in progress and I like it a lot! Thanks.

For DD stay from the alum flywheel. The 4 banger isn't well balanced and the low weight flywheel makes a bad harmonics as certain rev's, esp. when slowing down. I have a spec stage 2 really like it. Maybe get one of those firewall threaded adjustment fittings.
