Been a while..Need to know if 86 SVO headlights can fit in 84-85 SVO?

I saw a rough pair of 86 SVO flush mount headlights on eBay today, I didn't buy them, and it got me wondering if the flush mount headlight will fit in place of the sealed beam lamps, basically converting the front end of an 84-85 SVO into the 86 stlye?

I didn't know if the headlight header panel is the same and the flush mounts were just adapted to the 84-85 header panel or if it was completely different because of the flush mount lamps.

They are the same. If you have a very early 84 svo you will have to drill a couple of holes. Just put the light in the proper place and move it around a little to scribe where to drill .
