Has anyone read the new article in the March 2015 issue of Muscle Mustang & Fast Fords magazine about a 1986 SVO with a Focus ST engine swap? First of all it is a clean engine swap and I am sure that it took the person a lot of time and money to perform the swap but... They painted the car Gotta Have It Green. Which is a personal choice I guess but they painted all of the moldings green as well. I mean every single thing on the car is green. Anyway, I guess that is a personal choice also. The reason I am writing about the article is the author's lack of knowledge on the SVO. He works for one of the biggest Mustang magazine's published and he makes mistakes in his article. I know I am probably being picky but still. He wrote in the article that the 1986 was "the last-hurrah and had 205 hp". Also he writes a description about the exterior and states "the car's exterior is stock except for custom rear moldings derived from '83-'84 quarter-panel moldings". In the photo's it is the stock moldings that are factory correct for the SVO which are in no way "custom". Anyway, it is a interesting car and a twist on the every day modifications. I just wish the article had been written more accurately.
