Brought from another forum.....started to allow Sellers declare car movement, sale/trade and "project status" for buyers.

I SUGGEST you allow buyers to disclose purchase price (if they choose to)

Sold from MI (TheSVOTrust) to Dillon in MI

Good project car that he (first time owner) is sorting - car needed injectors when delivered. Best way for him to get into car as it saved money and allow him to "learn to work on cars"

Sold from MI in 10/2014 to buyer (to introduce) with intentions of showing car in various east coast car show, including judged events.

Unadvertised car collection to car collection sale (delivery alone is a added story to cars history)

I am the new owner of Mark's 85.5 1C 41C (63,870 miles) and 86 1C 41C (2,241 miles) cars. They were purchased as a pair and were moved individually to New Hampshire from Brighton, MI by way of Clifton Heights, PA.

As Mark stated they will make periodic appearances at shows.

These are my first SVO's, but my first brand new car was a 85 GT purchased in December of 1984, so I am not new to Fox bodies.

Glad you introduced yourself to all of my friends Dave ! Everyone David can be a wealth of info on early cars too . We can all benefit from each other, help each other and LIVE FORDS together! (Don't be afraid of talking Cougars and Boss Mustangs around US)

Mark
P.S. Ok Chad your turn for the 4E now ! LOL (as you can see I enjoy delivering cars all over the country as anyone) Though I will say the trip to Calgary Alberta Canada was rough) 4000 miles in 4 days.

I am soon to be the new owner of Mark's 85.5 4E. Spring can't come soon enough. I already have a 1986 SVO bwd that has been a long time project but it is being put on hold for now. I have been wanting a car that is ready to show so that the family and I can enjoy some car shows. My first Mustang was a 1993 LX 5.0 that I bought new when I was 22 years old. I have had probably 10 Mustangs since that car but own only two at this time. One is the 86 SVO that I just wrote about(which I have owned for 4 years) and the other is a 1990 Mustang LX 5.0 SSP Trussville Alabama police car(which I have owned for 12 years and it is still a work in progress as well). Trussville Police only had 4 total Mustang SSP's and to my knowledge mine is the only survivor. Anyway, I am looking forward to having 1 of the 4 85.5 4E's and to also having a car that is finished and ready to enjoy.

Wow Mark! Thinning the stable (or at least the SVO portion of it) quite a bit... congrats to the new owners! ;)

Looks like I am not the only one thinning. Most of my stuff was serious projects. I just sold a project mostly complete to a guy in Nashville. Sounds like Marks cars went to a good home with a nice collection.

I have registered the '86 (1D / 41C) for the MCA show in Grovetown, GA on May 22 to May 24. It is entered in unrestored so I do still need an original battery if some one has one available for sale.

Thanks,

Dave

Great! Looking forward to meeting you and seeing your new acquisition.

As for the battery.... those are tough to find and it took me a while to find one... actually came from a Boss 302 guy that shows regularly in MCA National shows. I will have it in my car at Augusta (worth 1 point!).

Sold from MI to Chad This is one of the four Sage Green 85.5's. They were built (hoping hertz would reconsider the SVO for rentals). Each is different leather/cloth sunroof no sunroof.

This car is the Leather Sunroof car.

I have the cloth non sunroof car. It was from Chicago and had rust. Started taking it apart about 10 days ago for restoration. I'll start a thread on the progress. My understanding is that one of the 4 was totaled in a wreck in St Louis.

Raven855. Go ahead and start a new project thread. I started this to TRACK svo sales but it has a fair amount of banter.

Is your car Andy's old car that went to Mike for a while??

I want to thank Mark Haas for everything he has done for me. I have the 4E parked in the basement. I'm at work today but I'll try and post some pictures as soon as possible.

May I ask why you drove to Calgary? Did you deliver an svo to someone there? Details please.

You need to bring it to Huntsville Mustang show May 9th. I really would like to see it.

Today has been the first day that I have been home that it hasn't been raining. Pulled the 4E out and cleaned it up.
Thanks again,

I was just telling Bill (got home late Monday) that I am glad that new owners are going to be using and showing the cars. The SVOTrust was set up to prevent me from selling the cars until the girls were in college. Part of me is proud of the effort I put in to keep them and part of me was questioned if I did "right" with them. The fact that they didn't weather or get wrecked is something I guess.

5 posts ! Really and you have SVO in your moniker! I wish I had banning ability - you went off the deep end with the 66 Shelby Clone IMO !

Look forward to your visit - no reason not to put a trailer on back of the Penske Truck !

Mark
P.S. Then again I guess I did find a 428CJ Cobra for you .........................so it is my fault !
