Pat was up here a few months ago helping keep fresh Scotch (or would that be stale..lol) in my liqiour cabinet. We played around with my SVO for a couple of hours. I explained a problem I was having with my car. It had a small hesitation off idle, as well as pinging under load up a hill. He said "sounds like you've got a vacuum leak". Well after checking, and checking, and checking, I finally found the problem, A VACUUM LEAK !!! Turns out the IAC gasket had a tear in it. I cleaned the IAC and replaced the gasket, and the car has never run so well !!! One complaint I have, I'm getting WORSE mpg's. Ya think if I stay outta the boost I'd get better mpg's..LOL !! The car idles MUCH smoother, and the boost is much more linear :)

A stopped clock is right twice a day also. I believe the proper statement is that a stopped clock is correct twice a day (assuming it's in 12 hour mode, of course).

But that doesn't make it "right". It is probably still a liberal clock. Most of them are.
