Passenger spat

I am looking for a passenger side spat. I forget which ones don't fall apart but one of those! Must be an 84 I'm looking for because both of my 86's turned to dust.

You need to find a nice set of E4ZZ spats... anything else will eventually crumble.

I've got a white pair of spats with brackets in a box somewhere. Bought them about a decade ago as spares. I wonder which box they're in?

The E4ZX is the "Engineering" number molded on the part. That is the correct E4ZZ version you are wanting.

They must have changed suppler mid 85 urethane was 84 early 85 went to glass or plastic.

Do you still need a passenger side splat? I've got a 1985 splat which is still good, and a pair of fiberglass reproductions from SVPU, I'd be willing to part with.

Somewhere in early 86 according to Daniel Carpenter the mix changed and there was more filler put in. There for they don't hold up . I have some very early 86 cars, haven't looked at the part number but they are holding up pretty good. The later ones just fall off in the floor.

I had a set of NOS E6 spats in the bag. When I pulled them out of storage, they just crumbled in the bag. :(
