Anyone running an Electronic Boost Controller?

I'm curious if anyone here is running or had any experiance with any of the aftermarket electronic boost controllers?

I personally never had an issue with my gillis mbc till I built my fmic. Now boost comes up to 11psi push's to 14psi (my target) then creeps to 17psi. Just cant help think a ebc might help smooth that all out and protect me from over boost.

I run a greedy Profec B. I have zero issues with it holding exactly 22psi. on high and 14 on low setting. I have many dyno runs on the car and never saw any issues at all with the unit. I think it is long since out of production but there are others out there like it.

Eric where did you get your controller ?

They are out of production on those but they can be found on ebay for about $200. The replacement is cool, but more that I was willing to spend. So I bought a GoFastBits G-Force II, so we will see how that works. Supposedly I should be able to adjust the way the turbo spools up but we will see. What I'm looking foward to is overboost feature that drops the boost back to waste gate pressure.

Innovative has a boost controller/boost gauge/wide band/fail safe gauge I've started looking at. There isn't a lot of people talking about having one, but it looks interesting. Their history of horrible post-sale support is the main thing holding me back.

Chriscurtin, that looks like its actually really good value for the money, especially the afr to boost fail safe. But I already have their afr package sitting on the shelf ready to install. I also don't see any mention of boost adjustment for midrange responce and spikes.

Ford Builder, I will do a seperate review for the BFS G-Force II so stay tuned for that in about 2-3 weeks.

Eric where did you get your controller ?
I got it off ebay a few years ago. the seller was sketchy at best and it shipped from Japan. All in all it is a great simple unit. The newer units seemed overly complicated for just controlling boost. I see a few on there now. under 150.
