Shocks and struts

Does anyone have part numbers and brands for new shocks and struts?
I don't have the funds to get my Konis rebuilt right now. I was thinking just going with Gabriel or Monroe, but I don't see a listing for the SVO.

My understanding is there are no new front struts available other than Koni. The option I remember is to take apart the old struts and install a Gabriel cartridge. At one point the cartridges were not available but I now see there are some listed for sale. Part number G44947, but you'll want to double check.

I just checked the new Koni strut prices and found some for around $200-$225 each. Seems cheaper than last time I looked but could be since Koni is having a 25% off sale.

I haven't researched the rear shocks yet since I'm just focused on the front suspension at this point.

I did find listings on Rock Auto but they didn't say if they are cartridges or the whole unit.

You have to be careful with listings and parts counter people. Lots of times the parts are for a non-SVO and if you check the listings for a 5.0L, it's the same part number. I'm doubtful you'll find a complete strut. I only saw one cartridge listed on Rockauto and never heard if that one works.

The only solution I know of for what you are looking in to, is the Gabriel cartridge.

I know this reply is late but still gonna throw it out there just in case anybody else needs it. CJPONY and LATE MODEL RESTO both have SVO compatible struts made by KYB. Hope it helps. I'm in the same boat right now. Think i might just do a SN95 (spindles/arms/struts) just because my 18x9 r18 stick out some and have rubbing issues. Was told that swap would make things easier, just dont know if its better or not in comparison to our stock suspension?

Hard to believe a shock worth 57.99 has the same properties as a 571.00 shock. I didn't see a matching rear specifically for the SVO on the sites you mentioned in the KYB maybe the V8 version would fit? None of these shocks are adjustable I assume. A wrecked car I bought had Gabriels in back and blown Koni's in front. I threw the Gabriels and kept the Koni's as cores. If it is just for everyday driving it may not make any difference? There are many different avenues to go some run coilovers, others stock Koni's and probably other alternatives. I just got a set of Koni's rebuilt in KY and they turned out beautiful just like new for a fraction of the price of new. Don't think I have ever seen 18x9's on a SVO, post some pics!!

SN95 spindles give a wider track. I doubt that they will help in getting something that big under the fender lip.
