Mustang Window Vent a.k.a. rain guards

Were rain guards an option on Mustangs and SVO's?

Do not recall ever seeing a set on a car, even at junk yards. I had a set of chrome ones on my '84 Crown Victoria.

Have been looking for a set as they do work very well. Have them on all my other cars.

I don't ever recall seeing rain guards as an option for Mustangs or SVO. There was a Ford accessory brochure which may have had them listed? Auto Ventshade Company was a big aftermarket supplier back in the 80's.

My 97 F150 has Ford rain guards so they must have been a Ford accessory in 1997!

Went throught the dealer customer Mustang brochure and thet were not shown there either.
