Cooling fan controller

Am looking for a replacement NOS controller my fan quit working , they have after market one I don't want to gulf it in my factory harness . a ford part No. would be nice

Not sure what you mean on the aftermarket one. Napa makes a decent replacement along with the connector and replacement repair wires. The controller itself is easy to take apart and in many cases can be repaired. Mitch and I have repaired quite a few of them. Allot of times thou the board and components have been abused with heat. The wire terminals have weakened and the connector itself has burned. Simply replacing the relay may not fix this. You could always gut the Napa relay and put it in the original case if you are wanting to keep it original. I wouldn't want to to take a chance on a replacement relay and not repair the wires and terminals. The original will probably be hard to find. One thing you will want to check on is the replacement part. There are two different relays. One for the AC cars and one for the Comp preps.

I *think* I have a NOS fan controller (dual relay, for AC models) and a Ford repair pigtail in the shop somewhere. Can look for the part numbers.

Thanks Mike, went I first finished my resto on my car I replaced the plug, the dealer got one to replace my melted plug

BTW - more accurate would be without AC - which is different from Comp Prep models.

Well I am happy to say my controller is fine it was the two hot leads were burned so my friend soldered two leads on there ,and put two butt connectors to main leads and it works like a charm.

What was Ford thinking??? They made a VERY common mistake. They measured the current draw from a NEW electric fan motor, not a 10+ year old one.
