I had no idea they made a model of our cars this late I thought they had forgotten about us. Desert Patina did you build it? What color did you make it? Got pics? Part of me wants to keep it in the box wrapped in cello. The other side of me wants to experiment with other colors on it. I really don't need a Canyon red car as I sold mine. Could paint it silver like my car but I've had one of those in the garage for 19 years. Always thought metallic gold would look good.

I built that model when it came out new back in the eighties as a kid. I probably still have it in my parents attic. I also just bought the old MPC kit about a year ago. Havent done anything with it and don't know if I'm going to either.

I just opened one a few weeks ago. It was given to me as a gift. I found, as I was going through the parts one of the lenses for the lights was missing. The lens pack is still factory sealed with no visible damage.

I just looked on their site and filed a claim. Got a response back immediately (probably automated) saying the replacement part will be shipped in 1-2 weeks? So far so good.

I too received this as a gift. Listed as an 85 it has the flush headlights but the in line intake. Seeing as my car is an 86 I figured the flush headlights were OK with me but I haven't opened it to see if they are in fact there.
