Picture problems

I am having problems uploading pictures. They open with a yellow ball next to them. Then when I try to upload them it it says I am over my quota. What am I doing wrong?????

I was having trouble loading pictures as well, not exactly how you describe. I would get "X" boxes instead of the pictures. I backed out and used Google chrome for my browser and all seems to be well now.
