Have seen many areas this year hit by heavy rains and flooding, most recently MN. Hoping everyone and everything is safe.

A couple weeks back Tucson got 3" of rain in 15 minutes!! LOT of flooding for several hours. The crowning of the roads to the curb to the sidewalks - all one large river with 2+" covering the sidewalks. Lovely driving weather.

FYI: Averaged over the past decade, the ANNUAL rainfall here is 11.8".

We have had rain and thundershowers for what seems like two weeks straight here too! Hail, heavy rains, lightning (a house about 500' away was hit yesterday and had fire in the attic!). After a dry, warm winter and very warm spring it's welcoming but could stop for a bit here and there. Tuesday coming is supposed to be a rain/shower free day they say....

This was the hail sitting along the road a couple neighbourhoods over yesterday on my way home.

Here's the house within sight out my back door. Yikes!

Fire. Not as much fun as it looks.

We got 9+ inches of rain at our cabin in less than a day Monday and the lake was up 14+ inches, our dock is almost underwater, and my boat was in the water even though it was on a lift as high as it could go. The cabin stayed dry with no apparent damage. Many of my friends nearby had docks underwater, wet basements, boats floating away so I am very thankful. Tied the boat to the lift with a nylon strap in case it gets windy. NO MORE RAIN HERE although it is in the forecast!

Be careful out there. The Gods must be angry.
