Ok guys I bought a digital water temp gauge to round out my triple dash pod, and I'm wondering if there are any unused ports in the block, head, intake where I can put the sender. I do not want to put it in the stock location.
I'm tempted to drill and tap the lower intake manifold where the senor for the fan switch is. My other thought is to have a block of metal bored out with hose nipples threaded on either end. Then from the top of the block bore a hole down into the other passage way. This is where the senor would sit. This block would be bolted the intake with a bracket and tied into the U shaped water hose that goes from the lower intake to the main coolant pipes at the back of the block.
Thoughts?
