Just finished installing a new pair of parking / emergency brake cables. For the record I want to say it was a pain in the ass!!!

I bought a pair of Raybestos BC93273

I got them from summit. I have a lift in my garage and even then it was not easy hooking the cables to the connector that sits up top of the driveshaft that connects to the threaded rod. I had lots of trouble adjusting the brake calipers to make the p/brake work properly and not to be too tight on the rotor. I was trying with the feeler gauge but just could not get it right.

Finally I just did trial and error and prob took the rear wheels off 5 times. The parking brake grabs pretty good and the car is rolling to a very slow stop if I coast. Man, there is a fine line on the adjustment.

That was my take on it anyway.

It's much easier with the driveshaft out.

Yes, delicate setting for sure.
