Aluminum finish

How are the engine accessory brackets, the intake and other aluminum parts finished? Chromated? Anodized? Clear coat?

Finish? I thought all the aluminum (intake, alt, TB, master cylinder) was bare. Obviously the VC & IC isn't bare. The metal brackets are cad plating.
