Lens to body seal

Word of caution....

As I found out the sealant holding the outer lenses onto the body doesn't last forever. Seeing how hard these parts are to find, you might what to remove the lamps and check the seal.

Found out the hard way too. Lost an outer p.s. Lense already years ago. Wouldnt mind finding a good lense to put on the really good body that i have so I have a spare.

Is there a preferred sealant to use? I've been thinking about opening up my PS outer anyway because the orange reflector is loose.

I use DAP aquarium silicone sealant.
