The story I told about Carlisle was 100% true.
I don't know exactly why Lew tagged Bud but that's when he decided to attack.
I agree, it is sad to go through life being that miserable...

Lew and I were parked with the SVO guys, I hide my info card so it doesn't get any votes but Lew left his on the seat.
His car is very nice and the spectators apparently liked it to get enough votes for 2nd place.
I always register my car as an '84 SVO convertible because the class for my car is: "4 & 6 cylinder, stock & modified"
Most shows I was the lone stock 4 cylinder Fox Mustang amid a sea of late model V-6 cars.
I got tired of parking with a bunch of 'customized' SN95 Mustangs and decided to go with the SVO group because I wanted to park with my TF buddies.

Exactly. You wouldn't think one a$$hole could be so detrimental to a hobby as he has been. At a time the SVO community needed to rally and grow he was busy chasing people away. Thanks for nothing a$$hole.

He persuaded me to leave. Selling me a rusted re-plated fuel rail as NOS for $225 - GFY (GFY are the things learned from Budt!!! HA).

I really think that if the core members of SVOCA +10 years ago (including Bud) treated everyone with respect the hobby would have surged so much more. There are only so many of us. Newbies especially need to be treated reasonably whether on the east coast or west coast, north or south.
