Flock it

I re flocked my dash and there is a spot where it did not take. Anyone ever have to deal with this and if so how?

I may dab and dust but odds are good it wont be the same. But the other option is to remove the new stuff and start over. If anyone has experience with this let me know!

I did repair work in the 90's on my Prelude. I just used a fine paint brush that was intended for model car painting. I applied a small amount of paint carefully with the brush in the bare area & dusted it. You couldn't tell where the repair was done.

Thanks Rob, I touched it up and its not perfect ( a little blotchy looking) but its better than a shiny spot. I learned the first time I tried this years ago to avoid brush marks in the adhesive. When I did the red car in the sunlight you could see lines from the brush. This time I waited a minuet for the adhesive to level out before Flocking it.

I used this for the second time and I think there is enough to do another dash yet. I certainly have enough adhesive and maybe enough flocking if you need some.
Just a tip for anyone doing this project. The 11/16" wire nut that holds on the glove box panel is more easily removed with a 1/4" drive ratchet and adapter to 3/8" drive short socket. Removing the seat and glove box so you can lay on the floor and see up there is vary help full also. I removed the wire harness clip so the harness can be maneuvered out of the way. Vary tight between the vent and a plastic rib on the back of the dash.

It filled in very nicely thanks. It is easy to do but takes time. To do it for profit would be more than I would say it's worth.
