Any idea what this is?

I discovered this under my driver's side carpet.

It's apparently been there, along with my build sheet, since early '86. Curious if anyone else has encountered it, or knows where it is supposed to connect.

99% sure it is the connection from the seat belt so if you don't latch it you get the buzzer.

Or 1% that it is for the light on the automatic transmission shifter. :)

Must be for the shifter. It’s apparently been that way since new, and the buzzer always worked. Thanks!
