SLOWLY getting this thing running again. Replaced plugs, wires, dizzy cap and rotor today. Finally got the exhaust leak sealed. PS pump took a dump, but that's another issue.

So, getting a lot of smoke out of the catch can. Engine was rebuilt about 100 miles ago. Should this go away on its own after awhile? It's running much better after getting some remote tuning assistance. Just curious about the amount of smoke from the catch can.

Yes, this should go away as the rings seal the cylinders. You will always get some steam on initial warm up as the moisture in the oil vaporizes.

Make sure you do the motor braking method on deccel to help the rings seal under vacuum.
