Strange plastic "hole liners" on front calipers

Hello

Has anyone ever seen plastic hole liners in the caliper bracket (red) that the caliper bolts go into?
Not sure if these are original , something some put in during a brake change .

P.S. Calipers are original dated Ford units - but I doubt they were never serviced.

Do you mean a plastic peice that goes inside the black rubber "tube" that the caliper bolts go into?? I remember seeing something but think it was green. Can you post a pic???

But after your post I'm thinking that some fab'd up (or FK'ed up) the originals and inserted these.

Now that I look at them the aren't just rolled up nylon. They have split and are correct size for the hole

Those look stock original to me. They come with the caliper rebuild kits. Lube them with that silicone brake grease - it's how the caliper slides left/right.

I was just messing with those this past weekend. The ones I had were brown. Both is the fronts and rears.

Where's the best place to get replacements of these parts? My front calipers make a noise over bumps and I don't think they have the liners. Napa and Autozone online sites come up empty....

They're called caliper bushings and come in a per-caliper kit. All the major parts houses can get them along with pistons, seal kits, bleed screws and mounting pins. Make a few calls.
