Teach me the ways of your power steering

As I might have relayed before, the SVO I bought is without a power steering pump.

Now I find myself ignorant of the ways of the power steering hoses, as I likely misidentified the hoses that I thought were simply looped together.

In purchasing new ones, I can locate a return hose just fine, but not the pressure hose. And LMRS's pressure hose specifically says it excludes SVO's.

So whats unique about SVO power steering hoses?

Some people have had better luck by using Turbo GT P/S hoses for the 84 when they couldn't find the exact application.

First off, if you have an 84 SVO, verify that your car has the TRW rack. If it does not, you can use any hose for the Ford rack that has the PS pump on the left (drivers side in USA) of the engine.

Its an 85. So the exc. SVO really just means that first year with the TRW two-piece...
