Replacement AC accumulator

I am converting our 84 SVO to R134 and am having a hard time finding a replacement accumulator. Anyone have any sources or part numbers? Also, I believe you have to change the orifice valve. The napa book show it in the high pressure hose. I thought you could just change it out. Any thoughts on this?

Sorry, I dont have an answer for you but if no luck on this site you could try the turbo ford forum, there seem to be a lot of those guys that have the same engines as our SVO's and have similar problems and solutions.

Apparently the absolute correct accumulator is no longer available. The one that everyone shows is for a n/a car. The difference is the tube coming out of the accumulator to the compressor is facing straight forward and we need one on about a 45 degree angle so the hose goes around the intercooler and down to the compressor.
A well supplied hose shop though could make the hose with a fitting on the drier end to come out at 45 degrees.
I have been giving this some thought since we have a lot of that stuff where I work.
The other problem I see with the incorrect drier is the lack of the switch that goes directly into the drier.
You can get a hose made with the correct fitting in it to replace that though.

Classic Auto Air can rebuild your original accumulator for $95. While it's away, have a new suction hose (accumulator to compressor) made as they are unobtanium!!!!

Ok, did some looking and found my receipt from Parts America ( no longer around!) and all I have is a P/N 4221 for the one I bought. Sorry I can't be of more help to you.

I would like to see a picture of the correct part with the 45 degree outlet tube installed on a car. I am not doubting, but I just went out and looked at the one on one of my SVOs and it goes straight fwd with no problem of the hose hitting the IC.
