New '86 hatch

Just purchased an '86 hatch. It was off of an SVO and has the holes drilled for the SVO bi-wing (no biwing). I'm wondering if the hatch is different between the GT or the SVO and I'm wondering if this wing is possibly a b-wing delete or if it's just a GT wing? The wing is the exact same as my '84 GT except it has a 3rd brake light. I probably sound stupid asking if it's the same when it's almost the same as my GT's but idk what the b-wing delete looks like :P. I don't want to have to post pictures but if they are needed, I will post them

The spoiler from a '84 GT is completely different from a SVO spoiler. If it is a bi-wing delete, the spoiler is like an '85 and up GT or LX.
Also the lower spoiler is SVO only to fit against the upper spoiler when you do not have the bi-wing delete.

On my SVO it has bi-wing already so I don't plan on using it. so if it has the 3rd brake light it's probably off of something different and the hatch is just SVO? Let me know what you think.

Look at your SVO lower and compare it to the one on your new hatch or your GT. You will see the differance where it joins the BI WING is Squared off to fit the Bi Wing flush. The GT Lower you have is tapered down to blend to the hatch. If the one you got with the hatch is the same as either one then you have your answer. The lower you got with the hatch is 86 or later. (third brake light)
If the hole is in the hatch it will work for the SVO bi wing if its off an SVO or not. (Hatches are the same other than the hole)

The hatch is identical. They will interchange without issue.

A bi-wing delete looks identical to an LX wing. Rounded off at the point where the wing goes up on the outer edges of the hatch. A bi-wing spoiler is squared off at the point where the wing goes up on the outer edges of the hatch such that it will mate up with the upper spoiler. Also, starting in model year 1986, all Mustangs had the 3rd brake light in the spoiler.

IF you aren't going to use (I have a car at a paint shop that needs one ASAP). I looked at your location - I wasn't going to take I94 to I90 BUT WOULD if you sell it/trade for items for your car. (Great time as delivery of larger stuff is hard)

Slightly confused, you are looking for a hatch, or a wing? I have a regular '86 wing (apparently) that I would part with, no problem. It does have the spot for the third break light but no light, I can get you the wiring though. I am not in the position to offer you my old hatch, as it is rusty in many locations and is still on the vehicle. Trust me, you don't want this hatch :P. As for me needing part, I need an original shift knob.

If you are willing to trade multiple leather wrapped pieces (in fair/good condition) I will consider selling the newer hatch I have, there is a dent on the hatch lip, but it is easily repairable. minimal rust and it is red without a wing on it at the moment, but a wing can be thrown in. Everything is negotiable. If you could email me (via viewing my page and searching for my email) I will give you a call too if you send me that
