The receipt says APS AD1345. The orifice tube shows as Santech MT0670.
Tonight, I added the second SPAL 11" fan I already had. Tomorrow after work, I'll get 12V to the DCC so there's some air...
Worked with a local A/C parts supplier place here in Phoenix area on Saturday. They rebuilt the rubber sections of hose while I waited, got me a new drier/accumulator, replaceable orifice tube, new...
Thanks for the info. Both my 2.3Ts have the Turbo Coupe serpentine setups already along with 3G alternators. The only bracket I'd have to fab would be to hold the compressor.
From my searching,...
If I can exhume this thread again...
I'd like to get the A/C working on both my 2.3Ts. The 85.5 SVO is all original except conversion to serpentine pulleys. The '84 Capri Turbo RS is using...
Wow, glad they caught it while it was still repairable and glad you're still here.
Things are warming up down here. I'm taking the Turbo RS to Radwood Las Vegas at the end of the month. Let me...
Ron, good to see you're doing well. You seemed in good health six months ago when I visited. How quickly did this happen?
May be of some help...

There are lots of Foxes this year (20+), only one SVO however,
I'll be there on Friday and taking cell phone pictures of as many as I can find. If anyone has a specific request, I'm happy to hunt...
Barrett Jackson is coming up in a few weeks. Unfortunately, there's sufficient evidence elsewhere the car is not low mile$.
A friend bought the car in 1988 from a used lot in Tucson. His wife...
Driving to work this morning, the SVO rolled over again. Now has 300,020 miles. :runningdog:

Beautiful car.
I use a fair amount of wheel bearing grease to prevent any tearing. Even then, it takes a decent force to get it to fit.
I love the desert.

Sorry I missed them. Maybe next year I'll get the SVO registered. It's nothing to look at but how many '85.5s are left at this point?
I saw the turbo Pintos, including a Pangra wagon. Never seen...
Sorry, I didn't take any pictures. I think 80% of the cars there were Coyote S197 and S550. Despite walking around for a couple hours, I didn't see any SVOs in the show. Maybe I missed them?
Another vote for grinding the Ford plate. Safe known metallurgy.
An interesting idea about the registration. However, I don't want to stay until 3 pm before starting the drive back to Phoenix.

I'm planning on driving over from Phoenix on Sat Apr 29 and driving back home Sunday after visiting the show. Although I missed registration, I'll be driving my '85.5 and parking with the...
The "https" addition to the bookmark has solved the issue, thanks.
I edited the bookmark to add the "https://". The bookmark was only pointing to "www....."
Thanks for the advice.
