What year svo do you have? I believe the emblems changed colors after '84 (maybe not) but the later cars had different types of emblems as well as more of them. The only external svo emblem on my '84...

You might try looking at motorcycle specific oils. Many of the bikes within the last decade still called for sf specific oil. Motorcycle oils also tend to have zinc added as the engine oil also...
