Wow, sorry to here that. He was a good guy.
Dallas Custom Steering Wheel (dallassteeringwheel.com)
They just did a Saleen wheel for me and they do the shifter knobs too.
Yep, that is him. Jeep guy.
Dennis Collins owns it now, I have one of the street versions and one of the race ones. Not very fast. Pre SVO.
I have everything you need bolts brackets etc. You should have a three grove lower pulley. $45 plus shipping. Kendal kacoker@aol.com
Check ignition switch. It can cause problems. If it has not been replaced at some point it needs to be. The factory ones were fire hazzards.
SVO is not different than any other 86 , you might have the 87 up ones. The 86 should have a batch of holes just above the speaker.
I use Joan at 800-207-3012 She will give you a price when you call.
you can find David LaRoque on facebook too. He is still selling the books.
The wire problem is standard on 84 svo's. You can actually buy a pigtail with the plug and wires on it to replace the bad one. I have done several.
Have you changed the ignition switch. I have had cars do crazy things and that was the problem.
The high pressure pump on the frame rail will pull through the one in the tank if it is not plugged. I would replace the high pressure one on the frame rail first. I have been buying the cheep ones...
Yes to all.
Here is a pic (really bad) but only one I have with the decals on it. It was turned into a race car.
Here is the Capri too.
They were all 84's. The 85 DGP had Capris. I also had one of them but I sold it.
Yes there were 7 of them. The one that actually paced the race is in Pennsylvania at Gerry Ayers house. They were sold at the Dealers auction. The one you are talking about was purchased by an...
85-86 is the same and 84 has the two radio holes instead of the very big hole like the 85-86. You can cut out the 84 to use the 85-86 radio.
Bright red one has two tears on the corners. Dark one has two tears on one outer marker light side. $75 each. I have shipped them on bus for $100 or less. I also have used bumper cover epoxy from...
I will get some pics tomorrow.
if yours cant be fixed I have some extra ones in pretty good shape.
Should be one of 15 made. Looks like it could be a comp prep.
I have seen the cowl leak, small hole from rust or seam sealer cracking could also be the problem. It would be a lot better if it was the windshield.
They are the same, 87 up has different dew wipes.
Daniel never made any outside lights, only the insides and 86 headlights.
