I have an early SVO myself. The 22-207 fit fine, except you needed the different size rack bushings.
Here are the lines you need:

My recommendation is to get a hood from a 1979-1982 or 1983-1986 GT. Get rid of the SVO's hood overhang and get more airflow through the front opening, where you'll get the most bang for the buck.
Those wheels are not going to work well. They're +24mm offset.
My 17x9 +35mm are a clean fit (that's with a 245/40/17 tire) but they are closer to fenders than a stock setup. You will at the...
why go the watt's link route when the MM panhard bar is much easier to install, out of curiosity?
Sorry I would have responded sooner but didn't see this. The front suspension is mostly maximum motorsports stuff. 1994-1995 SN95 spindles, 13" cobra brake kit, front MM Coilovers (which reduce...
yea, i mean it does exist though, but it's expensive and exotic

extremely highly doubtful.
not really sure what Laredo & dagenham are talking about. First of all, most mustang people run way too much rubber for their wheels. 245/45 on a 8" wide rim looks terrible, like a big balloon.

Hmm. What is the twist thing for then on the top of the shocks (accessible from inside the car) ?
Maximum Motorsports has a good selection of Koni struts/shocks. I went with them, as they were having a sale.
Can someone explain the adjustment procedure for the rears though? What do you...

but from the other way around, i.e. a 85 GT hood on a 84 SVO front fascia/clip??
the curvature of the lights looks pretty near identical, it's just the SVO hood has the longer tongue, which is not...
Any idea how different the hood fitment is on the 85 GT vs. the SVO?

i've had good luck with the AEM system, i like it.
you can configure the trigger point and the max spray point, and it comes with 3 different size nozzles.
not really sure how it behaves on...
yea i feel like an unpainted CF hood would look pretty mean on the 84 svo
Slotted/drilled rotors will not improve performance, lol.
You'd need to upgrade to 94/95 spindles, which will allow you to use a great variety of brakes designed for SN95 mustang.
Does anyone make one for the SVO?
The quad shocks are supposed to prevent axle wind up. not sure how going with "high quality" changes that. the only way you should really take them off is if you go to a different rear suspension...
that's not true.
SN95 arms are the same length as the SVO arms. lots of people run them because they have a better, and replaceable ball joint.
what model year is your SVO?
i've heard that the 85.5 and 86 have different strut valving, and probably a different PN
can't believe the essy heads are that junky.
shame.
as Mike alluded to with his rabbit/snake analogy, make sure you space out where you are putting those butt connectors or you will have a thick wad of them
