Thanks. I will get in touch with SVPU
Did you ever find spat? My passenger side did the same thing. Crumbled to pieces. Just wondering if you found anything or if there is anyone making aftermarket?
Keep us posted. I may have to try this if it works.
Welcome Calvin. Looking forward to seeing pics of car.
Wow! Beautiful looking SVO! Good luck selling!
I bought one on EBay a few years ago. It took some time watching for one but they do pop up on there once in a while.
Those Cobra wheels do look sweeeeeet!
Very nice. I may be biased as my 86 is white as well as 5 other Fords in my family being white!
Keep watching for them on Ebay. They show up on there from time to time. Most of the time you have to buy the headlights to get the seals. It took me quite a while to acquire both sides.
Very sharp SVO. Congratulations on the purchase.
Yes that was me
Was hoping to be there with my 86 last year but didn't happen. I did manage to drive out for Saturday Car Show with my Fusion and talked with some of the guys. Hoping I can make it out this year with...
Wow! Sold for $58k. Lot higher than I expected.
Thanks for the info. I will definitely be watching.
I think it will go for $20k. Does anyone know what day it will be on the auction block. Would love to watch the bidding.
Looks like I have the correct head head you are looking for. Send me your email and I will send you photos.
I may have a head for you. I will have to take a look thru my parts later this week or this weekend.
Nothing in the shoebox! Checked the coffee can too! Still a little short.
Beautiful car! Wish I had an extra $22k under my pillow.
Very nice!
Thanks for finding and posting this old Motorweek video. I have not seen this before. It is very interesting to see these videos from the eighties to get their perspective on the SVO when they were...
I replaced the fuel pump on my 85 a number of years ago(probably early 2000's). The original pumps were a Bosch unit but I have no idea what part number.
Bob, received the new steering wheel the other day. Looks awesome. Thank you for your great leather working skills. Can't wait to get it installed this Spring.
I didn't realize they did the wings smooth or textured. My 85 that I owned for 18 years I would of considered smooth. My current 86 I would consider smooth also.
