And..... going to have to pull the motor again :( Rod knock is pretty bad/noticeable. I have no idea what would cause this with fewer than 1500 miles on the new engine. Getting so, so sick of this...
I'm going to stick with the current one I have and try to modify the stock wastegate to fit the new turbo.
I removed it when installing a new turbo. I have a flex pipe between the downpipe and catalytic converter that should help keep the manifold from cracking.
Anyone have experience with a four port boost controller? Specifically, how do you connect it to the stock wastegate?
Yep, that's what we did. Ran a funnel with a hose down to it and filled until it started to come out. Pretty easy job, honestly. Used "premium" ATF.

When changing out the driveshaft some fluid leaked out. How do you add more ATF to the transmission? I think I've seen mention of adding it through the shifter, but that seems like a lot of hassle.
After a second and third look... this turbo is going to have to go back. It's supposed to be new, but is very obviously a (poorly) rebuilt unit. Housings are rough and the outlet is chipped. Bummer.
Also just noticed it's clocked 180 degrees off. Not happy about that.
