    Black box behind dash.

Anyone know what the black box is on the right side of this picture. I took the glovebox out so I could remove the two nuts that hold the fuzzy panel on. There is nothing plugged into the box on my car (the attached pic is off the web). I haven't been able to find the plug either but I'll search more with better lighting.
    Thanks!

I have a good selection of behind-dash pics somewhere. What year is your car?

I will search for pics later.

Curious. I don't show anything similar to that sized block box in that area on either the 84 or 86 dash. See if you can get some close-up pics that may show a part number.

AFAIK, that didn't come on the SVO. Only on the standard Mustang. I do get where you're coming from though.

You're correct that the SVO didn't have a "low fuel" light -- because they didn't have the "graphic warning display" but instead had switches for premium sound system or foglamps, and premium fuel.

But the image posted above is of the low fuel warning module, and since it's not a feature on the SVO it would make sense that there is nothing plugged into it.

Hey guys thanks for the replies. I haven't had time to get back on this and pull the black box out.So the only way an SVO would have this is if the dash was swapped and some point?
