    Paul's new driver (and it's RED, Mike!)

    Here are some pics of my latest SVO.

    It needs some cosmetic work, I have to swap on some new doors (came with car), new hatch (I have a good one), and do a small patch on the left rear 1/4 behind the wheel. My intent is to clean it up, repaint, and enjoy as a DD!

    Here is the PO's description:

    Body:
    Has some rust on lower Drivers Quarter, only on Lower section
    Needs Doors (bottoms are rusted), Have 2 87-93 Rust Free Doors, that come with Car
    Needs Hatch, Has Rust on Lip above License Plate
    Have Brand New Head Lights in NOS box

    Engine:
    Stock Engine Removed From Car and Left Original
    Merkur Motor in Car
    .030 Over Wiseco Pistons
    Crower Sportsman Rods
    Big Valve Head, 1.89/1.59, Manley Valves
    Crane Cam
    E6 Exhaust Manifold, T-3 .63 Turbo Balanced and Blue Printed by Charlie @ Evergreen Turbo
    3" Down Pipe
    Precision Turbo Front Mount Intercooler & aluminum TIG welded piping
    Silicon Intercooler Hoses w/ Constant Tension Clamps
    Manual Gillis Boost Controller set at a conservative 17 PSI
    Polished Aluminum Bypass Valve
    Cold air intake
    Air Conditioning Removed
    Aeromotive Fuel Pressure Regulator w/Marshall FP Gauge

    Suspension:
    Has Control Arms out of Low Mileage Wrecked SVO w/ good Ball Joints, Covers were dry rotted so has Urethane covers
    Fresh Built 8.8 w/ 3:73s, new traction loc, Ford SVO Aluminum Girdle
    Braided Stainless Brake Lines
    Eibach Pro-Kit Springs
    SVO Koni Struts, Shocks, Quad Shocks
    Polyurethane front sway bar end links
    Have new HAWK front pads in box
    Fresh cut rotors
    Includes More parts

    Interior:
    Autometer Sport Comp, Oil Pressure, Water Temp, Boost & Air Fuel Gauges
    Have Original Rocker Switch Panel for Where A/F Gauge is located
    Have Original Radio
    Stock seats, shift boot, has MOMO steering Wheel
    Hurst Competition Plus Short Throw Shifter
    Have Factory Hurst
    Stock wheel & shift knob needs to be recovered
    Horn Pad is in good shape
    86 SVOs = 2A - Drag & 2R - Driver & 1C - Rusty
    84 GT Turbos = 'verts & hatch

    Well, I checked it over, filled it up with gas, did a "screwdriver transfer", and took it for a clandestine ride. The car runs great, now I can turn up the boost (set @ 17) and see if I can break something...lol

    Thanks Mike, now I know what PLA means...duh! I'll look for the brace tomorrow in the light of day...

    I was thinking it wouldn't take much to fab. Fit the tubing, a couple of solid pieces drilled and tapped in the center then welded into the ends...done deal.
