    New Steering Wheel

    Replaced my old ripped wheel with a reupholstered one!

    Came with the car. The previous owner had it reupholstered in 1997. I attached a pic of the receipt and business card. Not sure if he's still around, but you never know. He did a really good job!

    I decided to preserve my original Hurst shifter / knob and put them aside. If I ever decide to sell the vehicle I can always put them back in for originality. In their place I put in a Hurst short throw shifter! I like it!

    Just out of curiosity, what is the additional pull lever for to the left of the hood latch release?

    Since the AC was deleted I have air vents I can open and shut. There's one on the passenger side also.....and if you're wondering....that's a Kansas Greatest Hits cassette in the radio! I loved the 80's! Think I'm going to make my wife a "mix tape" when I get the car on the road!

    The wheel looks great , My wheel is under going a restore , it has to look better then my tired ripped wheel .

    I have the same vent pulls but Im missing the passenger one, you wouldnt know where to find them new would you?

    nice looking wheel. 1 thing i missed the first time -it does not have the "SVO" above the logo

    I don't get what you mean by this? It looks like every other 1984 SVO steering wheel.

    my mistake. i didnt see the original pictures. the svo reference was for the horn pad.

    Still don't know where you're going with this? It's the original horn pad that came with the vehicle.
