I see you found some use for Meotch, holding up the roof and floor with his back, holding down the floor with a board. Good to know that he's expanded his skill set.
Enough of that, it was giving me a headache.

Nice job!!! I cringe to think that the before pic was the "good" Mach 1. Any pic of what the "bad" Mach 1 looked like?

He is unique. Most other forms of ballast don't talk back.

What do you pay him with? Wonka bars?

Seriously guys, to all those involved.....damn fine job. Ray seems truly blown away by this act of kindness. Nice work!

I put one of those in a 66 GT 350 that I restored for a friend. I liked the way it worked. I have Boss 302 that needs the same, but from what I am told the ribs are a little different. Putting that thing in was pretty easy, better than trying to put patch panels in as far as I am concerned.

My life changed on Fathers day weekend. Every time I look at the Mach 1 I am still shocked. To see the pictures of the work going on is humbling and incredible and I really don't know how to properly express my gratitude to Pat, Mitch, and everyone who worked on my amazing car. I could say "I owe you one" but really, I owe you several. I'm sure that a lot of that build was a PITA but you guys helped make a dream come true for me. I hope that I can return the favor sometime. If nothing else, I can be good ballast for a floor. Thank you doesn't even cover it. You have my respect and gratitude.

So you want to take away Mitch's job. I can handle that.
