The 8641 may have been changed/superceded to 8741; he should have records of this.

okay guys another good one for you all! the guy at koni asked me the part # of the shocks I have, and except the ford part#, the only other # written on the shocks is 8641x-1006 and tech at koni insure me that the part # for the svo was 8741-1006 and that the part # I gave him is no good..

sssoo.. whats the good part #? the 8741 or the 8641?

what model year is your SVO?

i've heard that the 85.5 and 86 have different strut valving, and probably a different PN

it's a 85, but there is 84 struts on it.

Anyway, i'm going to keep you updated..
