Well pretty much all of that first blast last weekend melted during the week and while we didn't get as much as predicted this weekend, we got another four inches or so (and it looks like the previous picture again). The highway north of the city is closed due to high winds and drifting right now (they must be erring on the side of caution because people forget how to drive in winter).

I talked to my dad this morning. They live about 90 miles north and west, closer to the foothills and they got over a foot and it was still coming down!

    Not quite like Arizona!

Tyres are more important than the vehicle in snow/ice. The SVO is very light in the rear but the power comes on much slower than a v-ate car would so it's easier to control in limited traction conditions. Imho.

Well I'm about to buy 4 new Goodyear eagle sports which is technically an all season tire. I know it will be bad though

Typically not the car's fault for not being good in snow. Tires as Mike mentioned are very important. It's amazing here when we can have winter driving for six to eight months that people cannot drive for the road conditions. Everyone is in a hurry, speed, not leave enough room to stop etc. Every year they need to retrain themselves!

    Thumbs up

Well it is nice today...and then it's all downhill from there Monday. Sh** or get off the pot eh Old Man Winter? We've only had snow on the ground for over a month already anyways. This is in Celcius too! If you were to convert it would still be really cold! Notice the "feels like" note for wind chill? At least Wednesday, there is to be little to no wind.

High-40's (F) in the deep dark cold of the night and low-mid-80's all day long. Some warm coffee in the mornings and then it's perfect shop weather. Stop by if you're in the area.

Good thing we didn't get more snow. Here is a pic of my truck after being parked all day.

This was one of those blizzards to remember. City half paralyzed with drifting from 30+ MPH winds, highways closed all around, cars stuck all over the place. The wind is to die today and the sun come out. -20C and no wind isnt that bad when youre dressed for it.

22 F overnight, 34-37 on the morning drive to the office. Too cold for the summer-only tyres on the EVO.

It's just really hard to paint in really cold weather. And forget about getting emblems, trim and such to stick on.
