    Which IAC Valve Replacement

Which IAC valve is available for our cars? The only one that fits should have the 90 deg connector (facing firewall) Only ones I found listed for SVO's have the connector straight which will hit the rear inter-cooler bracket. I did see some listed for the 5.0 cars that have what looks like the angled connector facing upward. Will these work on the 2.3?

IAC of 87-88 Tbird TC has 90 deg angle on connector. For same reason probably, not hitting to IC

I ordered the TC part from a local store and i'll see what it looks like when it comes in. Photos on the listing all look like the straight connector but that might be just an general illustration

    Thanks

All factory ones that came with a charge cooler will be a 90-degree connector. All that DID NOT come with a CC, will have the straight connector.

Well its not really something that your going to find on the shelf of a parts store as its common to the TC which are almost as old as the SVO's O'Rileys had to order it in and they only had 3 show up in their distribution system here in the southwest.

Oh, so it's not that common. Sounds like a part to add to my 'should have a spare' list. Thanks for the info...
