This guy was obviously a Ford lover. He lived less than 1/2 hour from me. Too bad I don't have an endless supply of disposable income... I really want a Shelby

Why wouldn't he have covered it up if he clearly adored it? "Mr. Brown was apparently very particular about preserving his car"
At least he didn't put anything on the car. He put it inside! Looks like a hoarder, or just creative at storing.

Dan Anychance you will get by in the next couple weeks? I have block time to go BUT it is a crap shoot on "the parts avail at the auction". They have photos of the cars and list shows parts - but no idea if this will have ENOUGH to make it worth the trip. PM me if you want - can pay for time/or OVER PAY with an SVO item if you want. Mark
My wife showed me this last night on Facebook (of all places!).
Very cool find, would love to see in person. It always amazes me how cars are/were cared for over the years; some are pampered (low mileage garage queens such as this one), maintained daily drivers (some of you on this site still drive yours), and then the poor cars abused, stripped for parts, and left abandoned in a field... takes all kinds I guess.

This is about an hour and a half from me. It almost make me want to take a day off and go to it to see what these cars bring.
Some great toys there!
The Machine speaks for itself !!
I am going to head over for curiosity's sake, I will be sure to take some pics. This auction and the Grange Fair are about all that would bring a crowd to Centre Hall, PA. (some in the PA posse probably already know about the Grange Fair). I didn't win the Mega Millions, so no bidding on the Shelby for me.
I'm still looking for the barn find 86 shadow blue SVO.
