Thanks! We are planning on coming out this year! We should be bringing the 86 SVO, but if all else fails, we can drive my 2012 Mustang out there! I'm pretty excited. All the pics I've seen look great.

Hey Tim, we could use one more red SVO at Sturgis....
Bad choices make great stories....!

Welcome Sarah. SVO's are fun! Glad you bought one. They are unique and so many people have no clue about them. Enjoy.
Hi Sarah & Chris. Welcome aboard and you can be glad to know you got a good car. No worries about the manual trans, it's an easy learn. My wife Sada, when we were dating, had never driven a stick and so I wanted to teach her. Which is easy, unless it's got a Spec Stage 2 with a high contact point. After about 30 stall we got around the block a few times and then went for a spin on the freeway at which point she declared "boost is fun!!!".
We hit a freeway exit to loop around a go home. It ended up being a bit steeper than expected so we did the old "i'll do the handbrake on 3 trick". I told her to be careful but she bogged it and stomped the throttle. Suffice to say, the SVO cleared her throat and left two black lines and a cloud of smoke. She's been happily driving one ever since!!

A little late here, but WELCOME to the forum Chris & Sarah.
A couple of pics with you two & the SVO probably wouldn't hurt anyones feelings on here & we would have a better idea who we are welcoming & what your car looks like (the avatar is so small my old eyes can hardly see the color. LOL

The problem I never fix on my cars is the nut that holds the steering wheel
Ron, that's a good idea! We will have to take some pictures this weekend and then post them.
